The Challenge
One of the fundamental goals for this non-profit animal shelter was to provide an economic and functional facility but with enough flair to reinforce fund raising efforts. Additionally, although the site bordered a light industrial area, zoning required that it compliment adjacent residential properties.
The Result
Standard off the shelf components and local construction techniques provided the core of the solution. Putting them together in a unique way and at a determined scale allowed normal industrial items to be used for durability yet celebrated in a way to give visual delight at both an industrial and residential perspective.
