The Challenge
The original building was constructed in the 50’s as an essentially square retail space with some mid-century modern qualities. The law firm clients wanted to provided quality office spaces for its partners and associates as well as create a notable public image for its headquarters.
The Result
The shape of the building provided the organizational concept for the solution through maximizing potential window offices desired by principles and associates by placement around the perimeter. A continuous connecting corridor paralleled the perimeter offices and created a core for supporting staff and facilities. Natural stone tiles of black granite and limestone were used to emphasize the geometric features of the building’s exterior in a simple yet elegant statement.
